Watched this with my sis last night.
Great musical. Jim Sturgess has an awesome voice. Okay actually, all of the people who acted has awesome voices, Bono acted too.XD This movie/musical based on
The Beatles and is about a love story set in the hippie era in the 1960s. All this takes place amid the
protests for anti-war and freedom of speech because of the Vietnam war in America. The names of each character are named after various songs by The Beatles. A really
symbolic story about the struggle for freedom and the tragedy in the
Vietnam War. I am
currently hooked on the songs created by The beatles but sung by the cast of
Across The Universe.(:

One of the best movies ever made, yet. Rented the dvd from Video Ezy with my sis. Anyway, it's really a great show. About a young man who gives up everything, his scholarship to one of the ivy leagues, donated his life savings to a charity and embarked on a trip to Alaska, changing his identity from Christopher Mccandless to Alexander Supertramp. He meets several people on his journey and shares wisdom with them. Really touching show and its also a true story.

Lovemg= Super awesome night. Abi came over after school, camwhored at home, got ready for LoveMg and then cabbed to school. The cab uncle was kinda scary. Anyway, saw Wanla, Nerine, Liz. Took pictures in the quadrangle till it was time to queue up. Sat with Tings, Wanla, Liz, Nerine, Ruth, Abi and Viv. Saw CHANGS with glenda they all. Went over to say hi, I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH , CHANGS!
It was great seeing you again.(: Then went back to our seats and LoveMg started. The first band was okay, second was really good and the main band was AWESOME. Started getting super high towards the end. Went to the front with everyone and just started jumping like maddd. Jumped and screamed the lyrics together with Wanla.XD

Ended around 10 something? Going to be 11pm. Abi and Changs walked me to the overhead bridge, took bus home from there.:D

Hmmm. A very slack day today. Went out with my sis, accompanied her to straighten her hair. Ate awesome fish & chips for dinner at Chinatown. Came home and watched Grace Is Gone. Really sad show. It's about a father who can't bear to tell his two daughters that their mum died during a war in Iraq. He takes them to an amusement park, not knowing how to tell them, and struggles to face the truth himself. John Cusack's acting is superb.
Oh well. Bugis tomorrow with mum and sis.

Went to school for some prefects meeting today. Met Abi & Wanla at the squash court after that. Watched them play till about 4, then wanla had to go for tuition. Abi came over to my place, camwhored & surfed with the mac, guitarheroed & super smash bro-ded on the wii. Ate dinner while watching tv, Korean food today!:D Abi left at about 8.30pm.
